Some of the shots we did for the LCBO late last year are currently running in stores throughout Ontario. It was a ski cabin inspired shoot, pairing selected VQA wines with delicious soups. Just in time to curl up in front of the fire to watch the Olympics.
As I’ve done every year for the past 8 years, I volunteered my time to take photos of athletes in the Kingston Triathlon.
This year, for the first time since I’ve been shooting at the event, it rained – and boy, did it rain! Since my gear isn’t exactly water-proof (Hasseblad cameras aren’t meant to face the elements, unlike the Canon and Nikon DSLRs). I found myself huddled under the finish tent, with a few other photographers trying to get what shots we could.
As a result, far fewer shots than past years, but nonetheless, I got a few fun shots for the athletes to enjoy.
